Everyday Biker of the Month
Inspired by our own Barbara Insull, who leaves her car at home when heading to the airport for a morning meeting, we would love to start profiling everyday riders and their routes. If you have a trip you would like to share, send us your name, bike details, description of your ride, and a photo. You could be our next “Everyday Biker of the Month”!
Name: Barbara Insull
Route: Parnell to Auckland Airport
Bike: Dahon Folding Bike, 18 speed
“Left home on my bike at 8:43 am. Caught the train in Newmarket at 8:53 am. Left the Onehunga station at 9:11am. Biked over the Manukau Harbour on the lovely new cycle bridge and path. Followed the cycle lanes to George Bolt Drive. Sitting in the Koru Meeting Room at Air New Zealand Airport Car Park at 9:46am. No sweat. Make-up intact! Returned home in the afternoon, via Dress Smart (to avoid a spot of rain) and Cornwall Park.”
