What can you do? 

Be part of the solution!  Here's how you can help improve cycling in the Auckland region: 

1) Join Cycle Action, your membership fee supports our office and part-time staff who are working hard on your behalf.

2) Write a letter to your local community paper or the Herald (e-mail: letters@nzherald.co.nz) on an issue you're concerned about.  Be sure to end your letter on a positive note and proof read it before hitting the 'send' button! 

3) Come along sometime to a monthly meeting.  Find out more about what we get up to and see if you'd like to get more involved.

Vacancies!...  We currently need members to help out with:

• marketing Cycle Action to increase our membership
  
• fund-raising to enable us to continue employing our part-time project coordinator  
  
• submission writing and presenting to local authorities (eg: Councils, Transit, MoT)
  
• assistance with the key projects listed on our home page

Joining Cycle Action: You have a choice of two options!...

a) Join as a 'Friend of Cycle Action' for free!

Join as a Friend of Cycle Action and receive monthly email newsletters to keep up with what's happening.  Only the moderator can post to this group - so you won't receive spam (though messages do contain a Yahoo advert at the bottom, which enables us to offer this service for free).

To join as a Friend of CAA, send a blank email to Friends_of_CAA-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

b) Or join as a full member!

Joining Cycle Action as a full member  is easy. You can pay by direct credit into our bank account: 38-9001-0980291-00 then email your details to our membership secretary.
